Olympic Games - Beijing, China

The 2008 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, will be held in Beijing, China from August 8, 2008 through August 24, 2008, with the opening ceremony to take place at 8 p.m. on August 8th. Some events, like beach volleyball, sailing, and swimming's new marathon 10km events, will be held in the coastal city of Qingdao. more info

Formula 1 Grand Prix - Singapore
September 20, 2008 - October 2, 2008
The Formula 1 Grand Prix is to be staged at the Singapore Street Circuit in the Marina Bay area. It is hoped the event may become the first race to be held at night for the sport. more info

PAICE (Pacific Area Incentives & Conference Expo) 2008

Destination Marketing Services and Unique Venues will be exhibiting at PAICE this year. The fifth Pacific Area Incentives and Conferences Expo (PAICE) will be held on Tuesday 19 August 2008 at Auckland's Eden Park. Venue hours are to be confirmed but are tentatively set at the new times of 8am to 5pm. more info
